Standard Epoxy Resin

 Can be used for general tooling and Epoxy repairs, this tack-free drying general purpose Epoxy laminating resin is ideal for use in wet layups and is compatible with a
wide range of substrates.

Marine Grade Epoxy Resin

Is specifically blended for use in the marine environment and is certificated for use below the water line and therefore German Lloyd's Approved.

Both variations are high performing Epoxy resin systems and have been chosen based on quality and performance. Compared to Polyester, Epoxy resin systems are regarded as being of superior quality and are lower in odour. A key part to the Epoxy resin process is ensuring that the two supplied components are mixed in the correct quantities. Each Epoxy kit we supply comes complete with the correct amount of hardener and a printed data sheet containing the mixing ratio and some kits are supplied with free weighing scales.

When mould making or laminating it is generally accepted that Polyesters and Epoxy resins should not be used alongside or in conjunction with one another. For example Polyester resin should not be used over Epoxy reisn, although Epoxy resin can be used over Polyester in some circumstances.
